Tools We Actually Use
Useful things
This is a list of things we’ve used, currently use, rotate in and out, or just find helpful—whether we’re packing for a market, fulfilling orders at home, or stocking displays at local shops that carry our products.
Some of these are things we reach for every time. Others are tools that made certain seasons easier. A few might just be ideas you hadn’t thought of yet. These are mostly simple, functional, and easy to transport. If it’s on this list, it’s something we’ve put to work in real life.
Some links are Amazon affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you choose to buy through them. It doesn’t cost anything extra—and we only include things we’ve used ourselves or think are worth considering.

We use hooks to hook this on to the top of our tent at markets. It has helped so much, especially in the Houston heat.

This has been the best tent! It’s held up in all sorts of weather and is easy to set up. Super sturdy.

These are our tent weights. They are amazing. They fit at least 2 bags of sand, are sturdy and easy to grip for carrying, and you can also attach straps from the top of the tent to the weights for extra stability.

Even though our tent had a back, we ended up getting these three sides to be better protected during rainy weather.

This is the chalkboard sign we use. It’s held up through a lot, I just bring it under the tent during rain.

We use these folding tables with straps in black. The straps are super helpful when unloading and getting your stuff from the car to the market area.

These are the tablecloths we use. I liked them because they are machine washable and able to go in the dryer. I also like the look better than the stretchy tablecloths.

We use this solar charger all the time. It’s incredible. It has even charged itself in the shade and in our house by a lamp. We also use it for powering our phones during blackouts.

This is our little testers and checkout table. It’s a cute little side table that allows me to set up a testers station and put our payment processing devices in the middle cubby.

We use these lamps during evening markets. they hold their charge pretty well on the yellow setting, and I love that they are cordless. A nice, sleek touch lamp.

This is the backdrop stand we use during indoor markets to hold our woodsy backdrop. It’s been great.

I use this stand to display my prices at markets. It’s just a simple, practical stand that I can adjust as I need to. I do like that you can add sand to weigh down the bottom.
